The safety and well-being of our residents is a top priority in the Rural Municipality of Hart Butte. Through strong partnerships with local agencies and community volunteers, we provide essential fire protection, policing, and emergency services that ensure timely response and effective support in times of need.
Fire Protection Services
The Coronach & District Fire Department is made up of dedicated local volunteers who respond to fires, accidents, and other emergencies throughout the RM. The department conducts regular training and public safety education, and is equipped with modern firefighting gear and equipment.

Police Services
The RM of Hart Butte is served by the Coronach RCMP Detachment, which provides law enforcement, crime prevention, and public safety support across the municipality. Officers work in partnership with the RM to ensure a safe environment for residents, visitors, and businesses.

Emergency Services & Preparedness
In the event of natural disasters, severe weather, or other emergencies, the RM coordinates with local and provincial agencies to deliver a timely and effective response. We encourage residents to have emergency kits and to stay informed through RM alerts and updates.
