The Rural Municipality of Hart Butte is committed to providing reliable, essential services that support the safety, well-being, and day-to-day needs of our residents. Our municipal services include public safety, cemetery maintenance, waste and recycling information, pest and weed control, community water wells, dust control, and the gravel program. Through responsible planning and ongoing maintenance, the RM works to protect public health, preserve community assets, and maintain infrastructure that supports rural living. Public Safety

We are committed to keeping our community safe through dedicated fire protection services, policing, and emergency response coordination.

We work closely with local agencies to ensure residents have access to prompt and reliable support during emergencies.

Cemeteries

The RM-managed cemeteries offers a respectful and well-maintained final resting place for community members. Plot reservations and burial records are available through the municipal office.

Garbage/Recycling

Garbage and recycling services help keep our community clean and environmentally responsible. Disposal site information is available through the RM office. Grain bag recycling information also available.

Pest & Weed Control

Water Wells

The Rural Municipality of Hart Butte No. 11 maintains two community water wells to support residents, local farms, and ranching operations. These wells provide reliable access to clean water for agricultural and personal use, ensuring sustainability across our rural area.

Dust Control

Living in a rural area means plenty of open space- and sometimes a bit of dust on busy gravel roads. The Rural Municipality of Hart Butte No. 11 offers dust control services to help make travel safer and more comfortable for residents, especially near homes and high-traffic areas. Each year, the RM coordinates applications to reduce dust, improve visibility, and keep our roads in good condition. Residents can contact the RM Office to apply for dust control.
